ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

Due to building regulations, we are not able to make this building fully accessible.

There are three steps from the street to the entrance of The Georgian Swansea. On entering the property, guests are greeted with a bar-lounge area on the ground floor – on the left-side of the bar-lounge, a door leads the way to a flight of stairs up to The Georgian Swansea’s bedrooms. Whilst on the right-side of the bar-lounge, a door leads to a corridor which in turn leads to The Georgian Swansea’s meeting room, named ‘The Red Room,’ at the rear of the property. The Georgian Swansea’s ladies and gents toilets are located on the below-ground floor with access via a flight of stairs.

Bedrooms in The Georgian Swansea are located on the first and second floor of the property. There are stairs leading to each room and no lifts.

Guests with accessibility requirements are advised to book a room at our sister hotel, Morgans Hotel, or the Morgans Townhouse. Both of these buildings have accessible bedrooms and lifts from the ground floor to upper floors.

ON ARRIVAL

As detailed in guests’ booking confirmations, guests staying at The Georgian Swansea check-in at the reception desk at the nearby Morgans Hotel. There, our porters will greet The Georgian Swansea guests, assist them with their luggage and show them over to The Georgian Swansea and to their rooms.

FOOD AND DRINK

Breakfast is served in the Banqueting Hall at our sister hotel, Morgans Hotel, less than 100 feet away. The breakfast menu is varied and the kitchen team can cater to any dietary or cultural requirements or preferences.

The Morgans Hotel bar is open to all, including hotel guests and The Georgian Swansea guests, from 11am to late each day. The Morgans Hotel champagne bar is also open on evenings.

Currently, The Georgian Swansea’s bar is only available for private pre-booked parties and events – but guests are welcome to relax in the bar-lounge area at any time.

PRIVATE EVENTS

The Georgian Swansea can be booked exclusively and the bar is available for guests hosting a pre-booked party or special occasion.

With this in mind, any food offerings for private events held at The Georgian Swansea can be adapted to meet individual guests’ dietary or cultural requirements.
